Thats what youll find on all six of the 4M and 4R Tractors4-cylinder diesels with the torque reserve to keep going when the going gets tough. These engines also run quiet, with a rated speed of just 2600 rpm and insulated under-hood muffler. The standard oil cooler extends oil and engine life. Direct injection of fuel delivers fast starts, even in cold temperatures. And these engines run clean, meeting Final Tier 4 emission standards.

Service is quick and easy, with an 200-hour oil change interval and convenient spots to check engine and hydraulic oil levels. Need to work through dusty or dry weedy ground? Youll like the easy-to-access and easy-to-clean air filter and radiators.

The 4R Tractors feature an optional, fuel-saving PTO. This e-PTO lets you get the standard 540 PTO speed at just 1900 maximum engine rpm. For light-duty PTO jobs like pasture mowing, simply throttle back and engage the e-PTO. You can cut fuel use by up to 30 percent, while you reduce engine noise and wear.

For more comfort, choose the ComfortGard cab, available only on the 4R Tractors equipped with the hydrostatic transmission. Operators enjoy great visibility, perfect climate control, and finger-tip controls. For an even better ride, add the air-ride seat to the cab of a 4044R or 4052R. The air-ride seat is standard on 4066R Tractor.
